Valterra Platinum: Community Bursaries 2026

Valterra Platinum has officially opened applications for its Community Bursary Programme for the 2026 academic year. This bursary is aimed at supporting young people from Valterra Platinum host communities who face socio-economic challenges and would otherwise struggle to access funding for higher education.

• Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
• Be a South African citizen
• Reside in a Valterra Platinum host community listed above
• Have completed most of their schooling in a host community
• Have completed Matric in 2024 or 2025
• Be between 18 and 25 years old
• Be accepted or enrolled for a first undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6 or 7) in ANY field
• Programme must be fully SAQA-accredited
• Be enrolled in a full-time programme completed within 3 years (by December 2028)
• Study at a registered public or private higher education institution
• Not be a child of a Valterra Platinum employee
